- Food Recall: Cora recalls Cora Flat Anchovies (19.75 oz) due to mislabelling. The recalled product was sold in Price Chopper supermarket stores and may also be available through other grocery retailers.
Europe
- Food Safety Recall (Belgium and Luxembourg): Kraft Foods recalls Betterfood dès 6 mois biscuits, due to a choking hazard. Experts have determined that babies between the ages of 6 and 9 months are at risk of choking if fed the dry biscuits. Kraft will be revising its labeling to advise that the biscuits be broken up and soaked in milk or juice before being fed to babies between 6 and 9 months of age.
- Food Safety Recall (Netherlands): Kraft Foods recalls Liga Tweede Stap biscuits, due to a choking hazard (see above for details).
- Food Safety Recall (Ireland): Jacob Fruitfield Food Group recalls Liga Original biscuits, manufactured by Kraft Foods and imported from Belgium, due to a choking hazard in babies under 9 months of age.
