United States

• Food Safety Recall (Eggs): California Department of Public Health provides alphabetical list of all recipients of eggs that were recalled on or before August 25, 2010. The list includes retailers, restaurants, delis, food service operators, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, and caterers.

Europe

• Animal Feed Safety Notification (EU #2010.1178): Salmonella Lexington and Salmonella Senftenberg in soybean meal from Argentina, via the Netherlands; distributed to Belgium.
• Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.1179): Mould infestation in organic wholegrain baguettes from France; distributed to Denmark.
• Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.1180): Escherichia coli in live mussels from Denmark; distributed to Denmark and the Netherlands.
• Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.1181): Diarrhoeic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP) toxins in mussels (Mytilus species) from Italy; distributed to Italy and Slovenia.
• Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.1182): Yeast infestation in various cakes from Denmark; distributed to Denmark (Dan Cake), the Faroe Islands, Germany, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
• Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.1183): BSE tests not conducted (over 30 months old) on bovine carcass slaughtered in the United Kingdom (origin UK and Switzerland); distributed to the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
• Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.1184): Salmonella in pork fillets from Italy; distributed to Sweden.
