- Allergy Alert: Better Made Snack Foods (Detroit, MI) recalls Better Made 3-ounce Original Potato Sticks (Expiry date: July 23rd) because it may contain undeclared dairy. The recalled product is distributed to local stores in Michigan.
Europe
- Food Safety Recall (Switzerland): ALDI Suisse SA recalls Milfina brand antipasti, 180g (poivrons farcis au fromage de brebis) containing feta cheese after elevated levels of Listeria monocytogenes were found in the product. The recalled items were manufactured by Die Käsemacher (Waidhofen/Thaya, Austria). The Swiss Office fédéral de la santé publique warns consumers that this product represents a health risk and should not be eaten.
- Allergy Alert Notification (EU #2010.0669): Undeclared mustard in salad dressing from Germany; distributed as Kraft Thousand Island Classic (380ml; Best before 26/12/2010) in Denmark and Norway.
- Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0670): Foodborne outbreak suspected (Salmonella typhimurium) to be caused by dried sausages from France; distributed in Belgium and France. Salaisons du Lignon, the manufacturer, has recalled "Saucisses sèches droites nature La Pause Auvergnate", Lot #040020900. The recalled dried sausages were available throughout France in Intermarché, Ecomarché, Netto and Relais des Mousquetaires, and in Belgium in Intermarché and Ecomarché stores. According to France's Institute de Veille Sanitaire, the recalled sausages have been linked to 88 confirmed cases of salmonellosis in 49 départements.

- Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0672): Dioxins and dioxin-like polychlorobifenyls in cod liver from Poland; distributed in Slovakia.
- Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0673): Mercury (1.46 mg/kg - ppm) in skinless frozen swordfish slices from Portugal, via Spain; distributed in Italy.
- Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0674): Ethion (pesticide) in red chilli peppers from Thailand; distributed in Italy.
- Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0675): Listeria monocytogenes in peppers filled with goat cheese from Austria; distributed in Austria and Switzerland (see ALDI Food Safety Recall, above).
- Pet Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0676): Salmonella in dog chews from Germany; distributed in Austria.
- Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0677): Aflatoxins in dried figs from Turkey; distributed in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.
