Unilever Recalls Slim-Fast® Ready-To-Drink Products in USA and Canada

United States
  • Food Safety Recall: Unilever United States, Inc. recalls all Slim-Fast® ready-to-drink (RTD) products in cans, due to the possibility of contamination with Bacillus cereus, a food poisoning bacterium. The recalled products were sold nationwide. Please see the news release link for further details.


Canada
  • Food Safety Recall: Unilever Canada Inc. recalls certain Slim-Fast ready-to-drink products due to the possibility of contamination with Bacillus cereus, a food poisoning bacterium. The recalled produces were sold nationwide. Please see the live link for details.


Europe
  • Allergy Alert (UK): Boutinot Ltd. recalls the NOVAS Winemaker's Selection White 2006 brand of Chardonnay Marsanne Viognier wine, because it contains undeclared sulphur dioxide.
  • Food Safety Recall Update (Denmark): COOP Denmark A/S expands its recall of Salami to include both Xtra Salami and Salami Slices. The recalled product, which was imported from Germany, is contaminated with Salmonella.

  1. This is the second time they did the recall, perhaps they should re-consider the checking of components and its process of making. In the meantime, we can do the conventional way of healthy living, such as, exercise and proper diet.
