Recall Roundup: August 28, 2009

  • Food Safety Recall: Queso Mi Pueblito, LLC recalls 13 varieties of cheeses ("Sell By" dates of February 2, 2009 to present) that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled cheese was distributed to retail stores and wholesalers in New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia through Puebla Foods, Inc. (Passaic, NJ). Queso Mi Pueblito initiated the recall as a result of sampling and analysis by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.
