Recall Roundup: August 1, 2009

United States
  • Allergy Alert: Tiffany Food Corp. recalls Chi Ling Gourmet Foods Hot Olive due to the presence of undeclared sulfites.
  • Food Safety Recall: United Food Group, Inc. recalls certain Victorian Inn®, Perfect Servings™ and Herico™ brand products containing nonfat dry milk supplied by Plainview Milk Products, because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
  • Food Safety Recall: Harvest Market (Bedford, NH) removes egg salad from store shelves and warns consumers to discard unused product after New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services detects Listeria in a sample.


Australia & New Zealand
  • Allergy Alert (Australia): Manifold Food Trading Pty Ltd recalls Chinese Gingili Paste (Sesame Paste), 300g jar, due to the presence of undeclared traces of peanuts
