Recall Roundup: August 12, 2009

  • Allergy Alert: Liberté Brand Products recalls all Liberté Méditerranée Wild Blackberry Yogourt 6 oz code dated Sept 02 distributed in the USA because it may contain undeclared walnuts and plums
  • Food Safety Recall: NewStar Fresh Foods recalls 772 cartons of Omo brand and Fu Choy brand Iced Jumbo Green Onions (product lot numbers 40550707 and 40510707), because the onions may be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled onions were supplied to small grocery outlets in the Detroit and San Francisco areas. Please navigate to the news release for details on where and when the onions were sold.
