United States
  • Food Safety Recall: Safeway recalls ground beef supplied by Beef Packers, Inc., which may be contaminated with antibiotic-resistant Salmonella Newport. The recalled ground beef was sold on June 6 through July 14, 2009. The recall affects Safeway and Vons stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Europe
  • Allergy Alert (UK): Sainsbury's recalls Sainsbury’s brand Taste the Difference Scotch Beef Burgers With Smoked Jalapeno Chillies (2-pack, 284g) due to the presence of undeclared milk protein.
