Recall Roundup: August 2, 2009

United States
  • Allergy Alert: Tiffany Food Corporation recalls Bifeng Nong fu Shanzhuang due to the presence of undeclared sulfites. The product of China was distributed nationwide.
  • Food Safety Recall: Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment advises that some of the Mexican cilantro recently recalled by Frontera Produce was sold at Alamosa, Trinidad, La Junta, Cortez and Durango area Wal-Mart stores in southern Colorado.


Canada
  • Allergy Alert: Wong Wing recalls Wong Wing brand Vegetable Egg Roll packages (680g) with UPC Number 0 69459 01104 3 and production lot code A0219, due to the presence of undeclared sesame. The recalled egg rolls were distributed in Quebec and Ontario
