Europe
  • Food Safety Recall (Denmark): Asia World recalls Hung Thanh brand Phu Quoc Fish Sauce (Lot #VN 138 VI 008) due to the presence of excess histamine.
  • Food Safety Recall (France): Anju Enterprises recalls several Indian style condiments due to the presence of excess phthalates.
  • Food Safety Withdrawal (Ireland): Carlingford Oyster Company withdraws from sale raw oysters harvested from Carlingford Lough, Co. Louth, due to possible contamination with Norovirus (a.k.a. winter vomiting bug).
  • Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0174): Aflatoxins in ground nutmeg from the Netherlands; distributed in Belgium.
  • Food Safety Notification (EU #2010.0175): Mercury in frozen marlin from unknown origin, via Germany; distributed in Austria.
