  • Food Safety Recall: The Suter Company, Inc. (Sycamore, IL) recalls approximately 72,000 pounds of canned chicken salad products that may contain foreign materials. The recall covers 8.2-ounce packages of Bumble Bee Lunch On The Run Chicken Salad Complete Lunch Kit (Best by date of 08/11) and 3.5-ounce packages of Bumble Bee Chicken Salad With Crackers (Best By date of 02/12). The cans bear lot code 0225XXQB. The chicken salad products were assembled between Aug. 14 and Aug 28, 2010 and shipped to distributors and retail stores nationwide.

  • Food Safety Recall (Update): CFIA has updated the list of sandwich products that contain processed cheese slices recalled by Saputo Inc. (Montreal, QC) on December 2, 2010. The agency will continue to monitor the progress of the recall and will update the list of products as more are identified.
