Pork Sausage Recalled Due To Salmonella

If you love dry pork sausage and live in Greater Montreal or Greater Quebec City, you'll want to check your refrigerator. Diffusion T.G.V. Inc. of Boisbriand QC has announced a recall of Maison de Savoie brand Sarment courbe (pure pork dry sausage) due to the possibility that it may contain Salmonella.

The imported sausage is sold in 250g packages, and carries lot number 02 51 29. The packages are labeled with a "best before" date of 13.04.08. While there have not yet been any illnesses associated with the sausage, please do not eat the recalled meat. Either discard the sausage or return it to the store for a refund.
