Food Standards Australia is alerting consumers to a recall of the following mince meats sold at Woolworths Plainland Supermarket, 3 Gehrke Road, Plainland, QLD, 4341.
- Woolworths labelled Minced Lamb, Veal, Pork, Heart Smart Beef, Regular Beef or Premium Beef: Various tray sizes, styrofoam base with plastic cling film cover; Packed 06/03/09 (March 6, 2009); Use By date of 08/03/09 (March 8, 2009)
Some of the recalled packages of mince meats may contain metal fragments.
Consumers are requested to return the recalled mince meats to the Plainland Supermarket for a full refund.
