Recall Roundup: September 21, 2009

United States
  • Allergy Alert: Garden-Fresh Foods, Inc. (Milwaukee, WI) recalls 16-ounce containers of Archer Farms Potato Salad with an expiration date of 10/04/2009 because they may contain undeclared milk.
  • Food Safety Recall: The Kroger Company recalls spinach bunches from Kroger stores located in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Knoxville, Tennessee and Greater Louisville (including Indiana), Lexington, and Nashville, TN for sell by dates of Sept. 4 - Sept. 17; and from Jay C stores for sell by dates of Sept. 9 - Sept. 17. The recall decision was based on "preliminary microbiological test results."
  • Product Recall: Food City advises its customers that Smithfield Deli thin VA Brand Ham 9 oz. Tubs-09/18/09 has been recalled. No details have been provided.
