Recall Roundup: September 2, 2009

  • Food Safety Recall: Big Boy Food Group (Warren, MI) recalls approximately 39,514 pounds of Dinolunch brand ready-to-eat meal kits that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
  • Food Safety Recall: The Texas Coffee Company, Inc. (Beaumont, TX) recalls certain lot codes of its 3 ounce and 8 oz. packages of Texjoy red pepper because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Food Safety Recall: Steinbeck Country Produce (Salinas, CA) recalls a shipment of Nature's Reward brand iceless green onions that were were farmed and packed by a grower in Mexicali, Mexico, near the California border after USDA finds Salmonella in a sample of the onions.
  • Food Safety Recall: OCEAN MIST FARMS Announces Precautionary, Voluntary Recall of 1,746 Cases of Iceless Green Onions supplied by Circle Produce
  • Food Safety Recall: Kellogg's recalls certain EGGO brand waffles after the Georgia Department of Agriculture detects Listeria monocytogenes in a sample of EGGO waffles manufactured in an Atlanta plant.
