Frozen, Salted Croaker Recalled - Risk of Botulism

FDA is warning consumers not to eat frozen, salted croaker, due to a possible risk of Clostridium botulinum poisoning. Grand Supercenter, Inc. of Lyndhurst, NJ has recalled 16.9 oz. (480 gram) packages of HC Fresh, Frozen Salted Croaker labeled with Item #HC 0500402 and an expiry date of Aug. 02 2009.

The recalled fish is sold in H Mart stores (H Mart and Super H Mart) in New Jersey, New York Pennsylvania, Illinois and Texas.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should return it to the store for a full refund.
